Funeral Charges

The total funeral account us divided into two parts.

The Funeral Directors Charges

These include our professional fees, the Hearse, bearers, any number of limousines required, completion of the funeral arrangements, completion of the legal documents, a suitable coffin of your choice and conveyance of the deceased to our Private Chapel of Rest.

Relatives and friends may wish to visit the deceased in our Chapel of Rest prior to the funeral, this can be arranged by appointment.

The Disbursement Charges

These are the fees paid by us on your behalf to third parties and include fees payable to the Cemetery, Crematorium, Clergy etc…

You will be provided with a written estimate which will detail the approximate cost of any disbursement fees payable.

These fees are required to be paid prior to the funeral by way of deposit.

Standardised Price List

All funeral directors are legally required to publish this Price List for a standardised set of products and services. This is to help you think through your options and make choices, and to let you compare prices between different funeral directors (because prices can vary).

We are able to provide you with a Traditional Funeral Service which includes:

VehiclesFor the use of a hearse and up to one following limousine (For mourners or bearers) and provision of bearers as required.£470.00
Removal and PreparationFor the transfer of the deceased any time, day or night, from place of death to our Chapels of Rest, up to 15 running miles and appropriate preparation of the deceased, Including the provision of viewing, during working normal hours, in our Chapel of Rest, if required.£250.00
Professional ServicesFor making all necessary arrangements, administration, including all telephone calls, confirmation with the clergy, or officiant, local authorities, and all personnel involved with the funeral, conducting the funeral. Alson handling and forwarding and donations received£1,300.00
Provision of a CoffinUsing a basic genuine Oak veneered Coffin suitably fitted out for a Cremation or Burial. An extensive range of alternative Coffins are available.£475.00
